Peachtober 2020

Every October, many artists set out on the daily drawing challenge known as “Inktober.” Many other creators have since taken upon themselves to make their own spin-offs of the challenge. This year, I participated in “Peachtober,” led by the author and artist Sha'an d'Anthes, known as Furry Little Peach around the internet. Following the daily prompt’s on Peach’s list, I completed several of the daily illustrations. I decided to keep the size and medium consistent among the works I created, using alcohol marker and colored pencil exclusively. Having used a limited palette for the past couple years, I wanted to use the challenge to jump back into the world of color. By November, I felt exhausted, but also like I had grasp of how to work with a diverse palette again.
